A Relaxed Nature Preserve Engagement Session | Marshfield, WI
From last minute changes to my crazy ideas, these two handled everything with grace and a smile.
Peter and Sauvell were initially supposed to meet me out at their family’s land but last minute, things had to change. After we brainstormed a bit, we landed on meeting at Hamus Nature Preserve. They drove all the way from Oshkosh for their engagement session! I was so excited to meet these two. Every email exchanged between us had felt like talking to a friend, so I knew they would be a great couple to work with!
Last minute changes can make anyone nervous, but not these two. They showed up smiling and laughing, as relaxed as ever.
It was a HOT day out at Hamus and the sun was relentless. These two toughed it out with smiles and were up for all my silly, playful ideas. (“Sit in the middle of the parking lot and trust me” “Pick her up and spin!”)
By the end of our time together, the sunlight softened and we were able to get the most beautiful images!
I can’t wait until their wedding in early winter! <3
Hey, I’m Natasha—and I’m so glad you’re here. This blog is a little collection of stories I’ve had the honor of witnessing—quiet moments, big feelings, and the kind of memories that matter more with time. Whether it’s a wedding day hug, a muddy toddler grin, or a senior on the edge of something new, I’m here to notice it all. These aren’t just sessions—they’re glimpses into real life, real love, and the beauty tucked inside the ordinary.
