Behind the Scenes: Creating a Website That Feels Like Home

If you’d asked me a few months ago if I was ready to launch a brand new rebrand and website this spring, I might have laughed. This season? It’s been a doozy—full of ups, downs, and all the messy middle in between.

But here we are.

Building this website wasn’t just about choosing pretty pictures or fonts I liked. It quickly became something way bigger. It was about creating a space that feels like me- a reflection of my heart, my why, and the beautiful, messy stories I get to capture every day.

I started this project right in the middle of the chaos. There was never a “perfect” time, and honestly? I don’t think that time exists. Sometimes, you just have to decide to lean in and do the thing anyway.

And you know what? That’s what makes it so much more meaningful.

This website became a kind of healing for me- an opportunity to turn pain and uncertainty into something hopeful and tender. Every image I picked, every word I wrote was a reminder that my work isn’t about perfect images, it’s about love, connection, and truly seeing people- just as they are.

It reminded me that growth doesn’t wait for calm seas. It happens right in the middle of the storm.

When you create from that kind of realness, you make something honest, beautiful, and full of heart.

So here it is- a little digital home for me to share more than photos. A place for stories, grace, and all the imperfect moments worth holding onto.
