Annie and Mike ~ The One Year Anniversary

Annie and Mike are some of the sweetest, most loving, wonderful people. Mike can make Annie giggle with a look and a smile. He still gets stars in his eyes just talking about his beautiful wife a year later. Annie’s great big heart and gentle spirit shine through. Seeing them together reminds me why I love weddings so much. These two were made for each other.

The day of the wedding was rainy and cloudy. But we managed to get a few breaks in the the rain just at the times for the horse drawn carriage from the ceremony to the reception (yes, for real. It was awesome.) and the time we needed their portraits. The family photos were done very quickly right before the light rain began to fall again. We finished just in time for the bigger raindrops. Even the weather was on their side.

Their wedding was a beautiful mass at St. John’s with filled with sweet moments. I can’t wait for you to see those as you scroll!

They wanted their wedding to reflect their laid back, fun loving ways. They succeeded in the most adorable ways. The centerpieces, cake, and graphic designs held clues to their shared love of games, DnD, Star Wars, and playfulness. Even yoda added some flowers to his hair for the occasion. Hotel Marshfield was a beautiful backdrop for their reception.

You’ll notice that their wedding post features more family than usual. That’s because from the moment I started talking to this sweet couple, they emphasized how important their family was to them and I took it to heart. Their album is filled with gorgeous pictures of them, but also all the special people in their lives.

I can’t wait to see y’all again some time! Thank you for choosing me, it was an honor.

XOXO,

Natasha
