Meet the Schlagenhaft Family. Mishan, Erik, Andon, and Tianna.

Fall colors are totally unpredictable. I love when a family is willing to change up location at the last minute in order to get that last little bit of color in the city.

I work with a ton of families with babies and toddler but it seems like sometimes as kids get older, it’s easy to be too busy to pause for pictures. The thing is, they are changing just as fast. And this season, it’s flying by. I have an 11 year old at home, and it feels like yesterday that she was 5. So I’m determined not to miss these years.

This family was precious. Tianna is 8 years old and Andon is 18. Last year, I took Andon’s senior pictures. Honestly, it’s a miracle they trusted me to do so again! Last time, I *might* have sprained my ankle at the beginning of the session and limped the rest of the way through it. Yikes. I’m just glad the pictures turned out so great! We still managed to have a ton of fun.

This time, the whole family was here for a mini session. It was my first time meeting sweet little Tianna. She was a little model with the biggest heart. Mishan and Erik were lovely to work with. Their sweet kiddos definitely got their sense of humor from them! We laughed our way through the whole session and even though it was late October, we managed not to freeze!

I can’t wait to see you again next time.
